Job Description
Complete assigned loan accounting operational functions while adhering to strict compliance & operational risk controls established by the Company & regulators. Accurately process payments, payoffs, & other miscellaneous loan transaction requests while meeting established performance levels. Update general ledger transactions as assigned to include accurate & balance cash drawer & journal entries. Complete research requests thoroughly & accurately with proposed resolutions. Be familiar & current on all relevant policies & procedures for assigned areas/transactions. Other miscellaneous tasks & projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
The incumbent should possess the necessary knowledge, skills, & abilities to perform complex accounting & balancing related tasks. Knowledge to perform this work is typically obtained through a business related college degree or extensive relevant experience. Skills include above average use of a personal computer & Microsoft software applications, general office equipment, comprehension, & some complex math calculations. Abilities include good verbal & written communication skills, ability to prioritize work, & ability to work both independently & as a team member. Incumbents are required to have 3-5 years experience in a customer service &/or financial capacity. Some overtime required, particularly at month-end.
